Tattoos: A 21st Century Perspective. (via Kendall Goodwin)

I don’t have any tattoos, but I was reading this post and I wanted to show my support for those that find tattoos to be a form of artistic expression. I especially liked the point about people being given a hard time regarding being employable. Are you serious? That’s like saying I am not employable because I like to express myself artistically with charcoal or a camera. As she points out, if you have to compromise who you are for a job, you probably won’t be happy working there anyway, so what’s the upside in that? I saw a beautiful, feminine woman recently with a pretty pink button-down shirt on, and she had her chest and one sleeve done. And you know what? She still looked just as gorgeous, and far more interesting to boot. So, I guess all I’m getting at is – be yourself.
