Day 29 – Hubblebot

Ok, last night’s sketch is kind of tongue-in-cheek. It was fairly late and I was really, really stumped by what to draw. I fell back on the space theme because, well, I love it. I had been thinking about satellites and the Hubble telescope a few days before, so I did a Google image search.

I don’t know about you, but I think the Hubble telescope looks hilariously like a robot from this angle! So I drew him up, accentuated it just slightly to fit into my idea, and here he is – Hubblebot:

Day 27 – Space Shuttle Endeavor

Obviously the shuttle has been in the news lately, so it’s been on my mind. My dad lives in Cape Canaveral, and my cousin works at the space center there, plus I’ve just always loved anything to do with space exploration… so I have been pretty tuned in to these final few flights.

Day 23

I didn’t really draw a study of anything last night… I just made up a little space scene, lol. It’s supposed to be a lighthearted break, but I’ll go back to more focused studies tonight. One more week and then I’ll enter the next phase of my challenge! Any suggestions on what my next goal should be in terms of how long I should set for myself each day/night?
